Plans

As a full-time employee in the tech industry, my time can be very limited, and there are many goals I want to pursue in both my career and personal interests. With so much I want to accomplish, it can be difficult to decide what to prioritize first, but I’m excited by the challenge and motivated to keep moving forward.

Here are some things I’ve accomplished since starting this website:

  1. Continuing my studies and earning the CySA+ certification
  2. Beginning my studies and earning the BTL1 certification
  3. Moving Pi-hole and Unbound from my home lab to a standalone device on the network, possibly using a Raspberry Pi

And here are some of the main things I want to accomplish:

  1. Landing a cybersecurity job
  2. Volunteering at local cybersecurity events
  3. Installing a SIEM in my home lab
  4. Upgrading my network with a non-ISP router and modem, and finding a way to monitor all network activity through my home lab SIEM
  5. Relearning Python and building cybersecurity-related projects with it
  6. Learning HTML and CSS so I can code my website from scratch

I know this is a lot to take on at once, and I may be aiming high, but I’m not planning on slowing down. I want to make the most of this stage in my life by continuing to learn, build, and grow both personally and professionally.
